Obituary

William S. Hawes

Died April 30, 2008
 Sterling

 

William Stevens Hawes, 94, of Sterling, died April 30 at the Inova Loudoun Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Leesburg.

Mr. Hawes was born April 5, 1914, in Clifton to the late Robert Harrison and Hattie May Hawes.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Hawes.

Survivors include a daughter, Karen Wells of Mechanicsville; and a son, Thomas Hawes of Leesburg.

Mr. Hawes was buried in Stonewall Memory Gardens in Manassas.

Memorial contributions may be sent to the Loudoun County Fire and Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 1178, Leesburg, VA 20177.

Arrangements were by Adams-Green Funeral Home of Herndon.
