Loudoun County Autism Summit

By jfolta

Pat DiBari, Lansdowne resident, has organized the Loudoun County Autism Summit to be held on Monday, July 28 at 6:00 pm in the Potomac Club Ballroom at Lansdowne on the Potomac.
The Summit will provide an opportunity for parents, educators, service providers, legislators and experts to discuss challenges and proposed legislation associated with autism. This event is intended to rally support for the passage of VA House Bill 83. This bill will mandate health insurers to cover rehabilitative services including applied behavioral analysis (ABA), occupational therapy and speech therapy for individuals with autism spectrum disorder. Similar legislation passed in South Carolina, Florida, Texas, Minnesota, Indiana and Arizona.
This is a free event and registration is required.
Please go to the following site for more information and to register for the Summit: http://theloudounproject.ning.com/
We look forward to seeing you at the Summit! Jodi Folta
