Leesburg student to attend conference
Zach Benalayat, a freshman at Heritage High School in Leesburg, has been selected to attend the National Young Leaders State Conference in Chevy Chase, Md.
Zach was nominated by Dave Shaffer, assistant principal at Smart's Mill Middle School, where Zach attended middle school.
Zach will be attending the conference Feb. 11-14.
