Opening day announced
The Wegmans grocery store rising along Route 7 east of downtown Leesburg will open Nov. 8, according to real estate broker Dimitri Georgelakos of KLNB Retail.
The store will be part of the Village of Leesburg, a large community of shops, homes and offices. About half of the development's retail space has been leased so far.
Other tenants signed include Books-A-Million, Coldwater Creek, Eggspectation, Noodles & Co. and Potomac River Running. Construction of the rest of the community should be complete by spring 2010.
