Orbital wins contract

Orbital Sciences Corp. announced May 6 that it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Department of Defense for the Theoretical Studies and Engineering Services program. Orbital will serve as a prime contractor to support U.S. Army, Navy and Air Force research and development programs managed by White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico.

 

Fortress moves in

Fortress Technologies, a provider of security and secure wireless solutions, announced May 6 that it is expanding its presence in the Washington, D.C., area with new office space in Lansdowne at 19420 Golf Vista Plaza.

Fortress provides secure wireless solutions and professional services to government agencies including the Department of Veterans Affairs, Texas National Guard, and the U.S. Army, Marine Corps and Navy. Fortress maintains its headquarters in Tampa, Fla., and technology development center outside of Boston.

 

Federal contract awarded

Image Matters LLC, a provider of information technology solutions and professional services, announced April 24 that it was awarded an Information Technology Schedule 70 contract by the U.S. General Services Administration, the procurement arm of the federal government.

The five-year contract streamlines the ability of federal customers to purchase Image Matters advanced IT consulting, systems development and other IT-related services, and continues the firm’s expansion into the federal marketplace.
