Heritage will join Loudoun Valley in Northwest Region

Final redistricting appeals by Loudoun Valley and Heritage high schools were denied by the Virginia High School League's Executive Committee May 7 in Charlottesville.

Heritage and Loudoun Valley will be placed together in the Group AAA Northwest Region's Cedar Run District beginning in the 2009-'10 school year after having their requests to be moved into the Northern Region denied.

Loudoun Valley is already a member of the Cedar Run District, while Heritage currently competes in the Group AA Dulles District.

Take a look at the story in the Fairfax Times.
