Benihana gives to Interfaith

Benihana, a teppanyaki-style dining restaurant that recently opened in Dulles, donated a new commercial-size refrigerator to Loudoun Interfaith Relief, the largest and only nutritious food pantry serving Loudoun County.

“This refrigerator will undoubtedly help us continue our efforts in feeding our community’s neediest residents,” said Bonnie Inman, executive director of Loudoun Interfaith Relief.

Benihana is at 21089 Dulles Town Center Circle.

Food Lion goes green

Food Lion began selling reusable shopping bags in all of its stores on April 22 to celebrate Earth Day.

The bags are made of a poly-woven polypropylene, feature the Food Lion logo and are available in all Food Lion stores for $0.89 each.

The company's Bloom and Bottom Dollar stores already offer similar reusable bags.
