School of Rock Music coming to Loudoun

The Paul Green School of Rock Music of Northern Virginia is opening a location in Ashburn July 21. The school offers private lessons and group practice for ages 7 to 18; students perform shows at real rock venues.

The school will be at 20660 Ashburn Road in the Old Ashburn Square Shopping Center.

The Vienna location opened in 2007 and has enrolled about 100 students.

Themes for the students' shows have included Pink Floyd's “The Wall,” Best Rock of the '90s, Aerosmith, '60s Rock and New Wave. The school is currently casting for shows on themes including the Rolling Stones, Punk Rock and The Beatles' “White Album.”
