QuickBooks seminar

Jan. 17: At this seminar, Anna Amselle Brent, a CPA and certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, will simplify the financial software by demonstrating:

  • how to set up a new company and a chart of accounts based on your industry;

  • add accounts, customers, vendors and employees;

  • create invoices, enter sales receipts, record payments and issue statements;

  • pay bills and write checks;

  • and reconcile a bank statement and generate – and understand – a balance sheet and P&L.

The seminar will be 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Thomas Balch Library, 208 W. Market St., Leesburg. It is sponsored by the Loudoun County Small Business Development Center. The programs are free of charge, but advance registration is required. Call the center at 703-430-7222 or Cathy Campbell at 703-430-7222, or e-mail sbdc@loudounsbdc.org.
