Levit & James aligns with LexisNexis
Levit & James, a Leesburg-based provider of legal software, has formed an alliance with LexisNexis, a leading global provider of business information solutions.
“This alliance adds instant credibility to our company,” said Ian Levit, vice president of marketing and sales at Levit & James.
Under the alliance, LexisNexis will refer its clients to use Levit & James' Best Authority software, which provides lawyers the tools for building Tables of Authorities – data necessary on many legal documents. Talks of the alliance began nine months ago, according to Levit, and it was finalized in June.
Levit said the alliance has no end date set for LexisNexis referrals and there were never any talks of LexisNexis purchasing the company.
