RE/MAX golf classic


The Greg Wells Team of RE/MAX Select Properties will host the second annual charity golf classic to benefit The Children's Miracle Network Sept. 8 at Belmont Country Club in Leesburg. Tee times begin at 10 a.m. Call 571-223-2947.


Web-based training


Long and Foster has recently started to train its sales force through online meetings via live "webinars." The tool provides live training meetings over the Internet. The training has three subjects -- ramping up agent Web sites to include links to the company search engine, a course to make real estate transactions easier and a third session that focuses on financial functions.


Geeks on Call


Geeks on Call, a professional IT solutions provider, is now a participating service provider for Long and Foster. Geeks on Call will be available to help consumers with connection and disconnection of wired/wireless networks, computer setup, data backup and security solutions.
