Super CPAs named
Three members of accounting firm Updegrove, Combs, McDaniel & Wilson in Leesburg were designated as “Super CPAs” by the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants and Virginia Business magazine. David G. Updegrove and Mary Leigh McDaniel were recognized in the Personal Financial Planning category, and Michelle R. Moomey was cited in the Young CPA category. The honor was created to recognize outstanding CPAs for their contributions to the profession.
Project manager hired
Charles Byers has joined the Ashburn office of Timmons Group as a senior project manager. Byers comes from Huntley, Nyce and Associates, where he was survey project manager. Timmons Group is a Richmond-based multi-discipline civil engineering firm.
