The Artists’ Gallery in Frederick, Maryland features “Homage”, work by Lesa Cook. The show consists of: figurative work, landscapes and still lifes, all treated with a reverence for classical influences, respect toward current teachers, and empathy toward subject matter. Lesa Cook has exhibited in various juried shows and galleries in the Washington-Baltimore area. This is her first solo show.
“Homage” runs from Friday, August 1, through Sunday, August 31st. The opening reception is Saturday, August 2nd, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Gallery hours are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon to 5, or by appointment.
