A special win

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 9 2008

Congrats to Loudoun County High School girls’ basketball coach Kevin Reed on winning his 100th game with the Raiders.

Loudoun County earned Reed, in his sixth season, the milestone victory with an impressive win against Broad Run, 59-54 on Jan. 8.

The victory moved the Raiders into sole possession of first place in the Dulles District. It was the first district loss this winter for the Spartans, the defending Dulles champions.

The two squads will attempt to get through their district schedules as clean as possible before playing again Feb. 5 at Broad Run.

The rematch is sure to be worth the price of admission for all you hoop enthusiasts out there.
