The numbers are in

I took my first glimpse at the stats for Potomac’s offensive leaders this morning and thought I would share.

To be clear, Potomac is the opponent for Stone Bridge in the Division 5 State football championship game Dec. 8 in Charlottesville.

The Panthers (13-0) won the Northwest Region title and easily handled Hanover, 49-19 in the state semifinals.

Passing
DeAirus Thomas-72 of 147 for 1,298 yards, 17 TD, 5 Int.

Rushing
Darius Brent-195 for 1,264 yards, 7 TD

Mulku Kalokoh-221 for 1,199 yards, 15 TD

Receiving
Abdul Kanneh-29 for 643 yards, 8 TD

Mulku Kalokoh-17 for 313 yards, 4 TD

<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--><!--[endif]--> Those numbers are impressive, especially having two backs over 1,000 yards rushing. But that should be expected from a team that's in the state championship game.

A special thanks goes out to former LTM sports reporter Joe Conroy for passing these stats along. Joe is now writing for the Potomac News.
