Swim Season Coming to an End

Many parents and kids will be cheering next Saturday morning when the Old Dominion Swim League holds the final swim meet of the Summer at the Sterling Country Club. Each Saturday morning for the past two months, swimmers have been getting up early to compete against other swim teams across the county.  Many swimmers have practiced four times a week to prepare for this championship meet. Many swimmers have improved their times by ten or more seconds. I've helped at the meets by being an announcer, time-keeper, and a 'turn and stroke' judge. Other parents help set-up, record times, and sell concessions. Congratulations to all swimmers and the parents that have made this another great swim season.
