Dominion High School's 2007 Graduates celebrate on Friday, June 22nd.

2007 Graduation Season Almost Done

The 2007 High School Graduation season is almost over. All ten of our County's high schools (and Fairfax's Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology) had memorable graduations that were followed by all-night parties to give the graduates an opportunity to celebrate in a safe and sober environment.  Many thanks to the hundreds of parent volunteers that made the parties a success. In addition to high school graduations:

  • Monroe Tech awarded certificates in over 15 vocational categories from Culinary Arts to Welding.
  • Monroe Tech also 'pinned' twelve new Licensed Practical Nurses.
  • The Adult Education Program awarded 50 Gendral Education Diplomas (GED)
  • Douglas Alternative School awarded over 20 high school diplomas
  • Academy of Science awarded nearly 20 certificates of completion

The final graduation will be for the Summer School Students.  I'll post the date, time and the key-note speaker's name later this week.
