Ah, it's Spring!

It still may be chilly for most Loudouners, but I love this time of year.

I can go for walks outside again to the Ashbrook Commons next store. I do this instead of slave away on the treadmill. It is not quite so brisk in the morning when I take my dog Dusty outside before going to work. Spring is here.

I must be getting soft in my old age. I remember sitting for hours outdoors in blizzard conditions as a season ticket holder for the National Football League Buffalo Bills. Since we moved down to Virginia seven inches of snow a year seems like a lot.  Up North, seven inches could drop in an afternoon.

Before you know it, the pools will be opening - ah! I love spending a summer afternoon when I'm not writing working on a suntan.

So start dreaming now, Summer is not far away!
