Todd Fielding

Welcome to my web world!

Welcome to my blog, “Feeling the AshBURN.” My name is Todd Fielding. I am a 34-year-old Ashburn resident who contributes to the on-line and print editions of the Loudoun Times-Mirror.

At my pit stop on the electronic superhighway, I will blog about current events, fantasy football, or whatever else comes to my mind while I am at the keyboard.

You may hear my views on items ranging from what the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors are doing to my celebrity sightings in Washington, D.C. I have been an active member of the National Press Club since 2006 and have contributed as an Associated Press stringer to websites, television, radio and newspapers throughout the country.

My fantasy football team had the best regular season record in my league (10-3) and has a first-round bye in our league playoffs. Life is good in “Fantasyland” when Tom Brady of the New England Patriots is on your roster.

When I am not typing away, I am a substitute teacher for the Loudoun County School District and a father to Jack, 6, a kindergartner at Newton-Lee Elementary School, and Dusty, a Lhasa Aspo who will turn 10 on Dec. 11.

My wife Jeanne and I will be celebrating our 10-year anniversary on May 30, 2008. She is a librarian in Ashburn.

Thanks for reading. Stay tuned for future posts.
