An Invitation to Seek and Worship God

Loudoun Awakening Brings

An Invitation to Seek and Worship God!

Prayer America's Strength and Shield

By Reverend Dean F. Schultz

The faith community of Loudoun County is singing “a new song” as Christians from churches of many denominations and traditions gather for a series of special events in cooperation with the Loudoun Awakening initiative (see loudounawakening.org).

Times of worship will feature the singing of “psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs” that combine a wide variety of musical styles accompanied by the musical instruments of the Psalms and multiethnic instruments of the nations, an interdenominational choir, pageantry, the performing arts and much more!

“Throughout Church history times of revival and spiritual awakening have flowed from the epicenter of worship renewal which has transformed entire communities”.

“When we worship Almighty God (I’m speaking of the Holy Trinity – the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) in “spirit and in truth” our lives are wonderfully transformed like a caterpillar into a butterfly set free from its cocoon.”  This divine transformation empowers Christians to impact their communities by sharing the life changing message of God’s love and forgiveness through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ with their friends, neighbors and co-workers.

“Our worship of God is also expressed by being doers of God’s Word by helping our neighbor in need like the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37 who sacrificed his time, talents, and treasure to help a neighbor he encountered on the Jericho road.”

Note: Reverend Dean F. Schultz is the founder of Worship Equippers for Christ, an interdenominational mission’s ministry committed to helping equip the Body of Christ to experience life transforming worship that advances the Kingdom of God into the nations of the world. A former staff member of Campus Crusade for Christ, and now a missionary priest in the International Communion of the Charismatic Episcopal Church, his unique ministry has helped to make the history and dynamics of Judeo-Christian worship “come alive” for people from many different nations and faith traditions through the singing of psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs accompanied by Davidic and multiethnic musical instruments, multimedia assisted preaching and teaching, signs, symbols, sacraments, ancient Christian liturgies and creeds, pageantry, and the Performing Arts.

Reverend Dean and his wife Glorianne, a real estate professional serving northern Virginia, have been married for 35 years. They have three adult children (two married) and three grandchildren.
